Record Store Day 2023

Thanks for the info
Since some labels are announcing (Craft, for example), the list must be today or tomorrow.

That is a pretty good start. Some good titles there.

Can't remember them all but there was a picture disc of Violent Femmes' ST album, a Jonathan Richman (can't remember which) and first US Mono pressing of Chet by Chet Baker. Maybe someone can help with the others. >>>EDIT<<< Travis live album too.

Unofficial partial list :

Wonder what that Pearl Jam is

From the Discogs cd entry:

'Give Way' was to be a promotional live CD featuring 17 tracks (about 70 minutes) from the Pearl Jam concert in Melbourne, Australia on March 5th, 1998; the packaging consists of a tri-fold digipak (similar to the 1998 release 'Yield') with an 8-page booklet. It was intended to be given away for free the day of the release of 'Single Video Theory' to the first customers purchasing the video from Best Buy stores. The day before the release, the CDs were recalled and destroyed by Sony. Supposedly this promotion was not properly cleared with the label and/or the band. Best Buy had run a full page ad about the release in its Sunday circular and when fans lined up at the doors to get their free CD, Best Buy was forced to give away any CD of choice for free with the purchase of 'Single Video Theory'. Of the 50,000 CDs pressed, most copies were destroyed and it is rumored Best Buy was threatened with a $10,000 fine for each unreturned disc. Despite that, a number of copies surfaced over the years (impossible to exactly determine how much of them are survived, but a good guess would be at least 150-200, probably more).

This CD has been professionally mixed / mastered, and although it's not the complete show the audio quality is far superior to any other source available including the pre-FM Sony promo.
