If you're striking out on the Talking Heads live album and you still want the tunes: check the CD bins. It was unadvertised on the list, but also released on CD. Ended up saving myself over $20 and won't have to keep getting up to flip sides.

Was wondering if this would be a hard find, but i think they pressed 15k copies.

Todays’ haul was significantly smaller that I first anticipated, but I’m pretty pleased anyway. Most of my wants was available but I resisted the urge on the more expensive ones. Might pick up a few more if they’re still available at my other local in the upcoming days.

I hear that the Wicked Soundtrack is this year's most sought after release. My local record store ordered it, but didn't get it. Said it was heavily allocated. He made an announcement to everyone waiting in line that he didn't get it in and if that's all you are here for to try you luck at another record store.

my local only got in one copy so they’re giving out tickets and whoever gets the winning number gets to buy it.

What can I say I love music. This year's list was deep for me. Nailed everything on my want list. Got lucky on the Pharoah sanders, my local didn't even put it on the list and only got 1 copy. I asked the clerk when I was checking out and he was like let me look, oh yeah we have one. Wicked sound track was gone with the within the first two people in line. Lots of disappointed people on that one.

Hopefully everyone scored what they were looking for. The haul.

One of the Royal guys was kind enough to grab me a Harvey Danger after they let everyone in, and I was pretty much able to get my other top choices. So not feeling a ton of urgency right now. Probably the most excited I’ve been for RSD in a long while and it’s the first time I’ve actually been able to go out in about five years! Got about half of what I wanted but the prices seemed exceptionally high where I got them from in Fort Collins so I had to limit myself. Still pleased with my haul being #102 in line and getting there an hour before open. People were lined up yesterday afternoon to probably try and get Wicked. I’ll probably be able to pick up the rest of what I want in the coming days.

Still looking for STP and Gorillaz if anyone spots them. Wouldn't say no to Cypress Hill at the Fillmore, but I bet I can get that one without too much trouble online.

I will say the Francoise Hardy set is very nice and probably the best the songs have sounded. It’s the first one I chose to spin. Jeff Powell cut it.
