RSD 2020

You think you have a problem? This showed up yesterday

As someone who was heavily in the poster collecting world for a few years it's weird to see a bottleneck gallery post. They're great . I remember when they first started and were an actual in person gallery. They're portfolios are also amazing.

How is the lenticular? I was tempted by their 2001 space oddesy but didn't think I'd ever frame it so I passed.

I've only glanced at it, really. It's still basically in the packaging -- it was shipped between thick cardboard and I just opened took the front off to see it. It also has the film over the image and a cardboard T bracing it in. It's for the kid for xmas, so I wasn't trying to break it out in front of him or anything, but the effect looks like there's some real depth to it.

As someone that used to frequent the Threadless blog forum 14/15 years ago, it's still weird to see Mike Mitchell images. He used to be another dude on there trying to get his stuff printed

Yeah I have some of his work. Even crazier is remembering when Olly Moss' Star Wars prints came out and thinking $50 a poster or whatever it was, was too expensive. Now the set goes for like $10K

Edit: It's also why I think it's funny when people complain about record drops in the 500+ range. Dealing with Mondo and the other poster companies make records seem like easy mode

Yeah. I remember thinking how crazy it was when Olly started doing gallery shows.

ETA: sent him the miles at looney tunes link.

Friends still looking for Miles, Casal and Skid Row. Every place I’ve tried is sold out.

Cross-post from the RSD Wantlist/Help Thread in case any eyeballs on this thread aren't on that one:

Still seeking UFO - Live in Youngstown '78. Struck out at Bullmoose first thing this morning and zero luck at about every shop @Vinyl&Kicks86 kindly aggregated for us, as well as Discogs. If anyone sees a copy while trawling around, would greatly appreciate a DM so it doesn't get sniped by someone else. Thank you!

If this post is still up, I'm still looking! Cheers!

Some random, previously out of stock past titles that I found in various places

Thanks! Went with the media mail option for $8.

Still on the hunt for Mingus Ah Um Redux, would appreciate any links/redirect from a RSD superhero!
This is a shop in Montana, shipping is very cheap too. I scored the Prine box set and Copenhagen from them before.

Let me know if it will make you feel better to unload the church. It’s the only record I wanted from the drop and one of only two I wanted from the entire event.
I'm almost positive I saw The Church record available on one of the links of RSD drops posted. Either here or through reddit /vinylreleases. Sorry I don't remember exactly where, but if you have some time to browse back, or over on reddit, it could show up. If I see it I'll tag you. My local still hasn't posted their leftovers, and it might be the same for a bunch of smaller shops.
