My city is so weird. I got to my 1st store 15 minutes after opening, grabbed bone and the weeknd and walked out. Sat and ate some breakfast and went to the 2nd one where the line was still to the door (they opened at the same time). And the 3rd store hasn't even opened yet.

They were sold out of EVERYTHING I wanted. Pissed Im going to have to pay a flipper for my Lions.

Got everything on my list, and there were a few that there was only one available. Couldn’t believe how many people showed up in the rain in NJ, easily 150+ people at doors open at 8AM. I was 13th, got there at 3AM.

Man, what a haul. This is everything im after! The Sun Ra, Gene Russell. Bob James, Ron Carter, Charlie Parker and Monk are all the ones I am after.

Yeah, I was actually surprised at how little they had when I walked in. Usually they have a ton, maybe they weren’t expecting that many people but who knows.

No one has mentioned the few records I give a shit about. Everyone seems to have some. Might pop by the 2 locals today to see if there’s any Tones on Tail, Girls in the Garage, or Sunrise on the Blues laying around amongst the dust bunnies. Hopefully having fringe taste pays off for once.

Yes...and I will buy it...but I usually dont have to fund the flippers and it makes me nuts. Already going for $90 on Discogs.
