My Bright Eyes hasn’t updated since the 22nd. I’m beginning to think I’m not going to ever get this and if I do what kind of shape will it be in?

I kept it. I dig Whitney. They usually ship out by now, guess it will be early this week. Feel like I had a lot of pre-orders for September, but nothing is shipping yet anywhere. Guess I'll need to listen to all this other stuff :ROFLMAO: , or hit the local.

I originally swapped Jason Molina, then listened to that and liked it so I swapped Whitney for that. Then I listened to Whitney and wanted to in swap and buy Jason Molina but they only had a few copies so they weren't listing them fo sale so I kept my swap. Maybe I confused them too much.

I think I've done that in the past too. They've ended up sending me both a couple times.
 
Received an email today outlining how to extend a current subscription at a discount ($50 to convert a 3-month to 6-month, or $140 to convert a 3-month to 12-month). Not sure it will be of any use to new subscribers, but a nice offer for those of us tempted to stick around:

Still waiting for my shipment notice or for it to show up on USPS Informed Delivery.

However, I wouldn't be surprised if it just showed up. It never showed up on USPS Informed Delivery last month.

Unfortunately delays are becoming more and more common. Not necessarily the label or store's fault. There's a lot of shit going on.

Yeah, I have plenty to listen to so wasn't worried. Just thought I'd check on status. Had a merch order too, Magnolia Elec shirt, so was curious about that too. I've been really happy with their service and response.

Yeah, virtually every vinyl record I have purchased this year has been delayed. And in many cases by months. I think Secretly Society has been doing a mighty fine job.

One thing I have come to expect is when an artist releases a new album, expect the vinyl to lag behind 2 to 4 months. And then having that expected vinyl release date move 2 or 3 times because of additional delays.

I actually have too much incoming (including the Bright Eyes Studio albums box set) so I'm kind of glad it hasn't shipped yet. Plus, all I want to do right now is spin that new Flaming Lips.

Yeah, I gotta say, the Lips and Doves have both come back nicely.
