September 2021 Vinyl Spin Challenge Thread: This Thread. This Thread Is The Place. The Place Where Everything. Everything Always Happens.

Day 21 – “Give Me Back My Name”
There's a word for it. And words don't mean a thing. There's name for it. And names make all the difference in the world. Some things can never be spoken. Some things cannot be pronounced.
Play an album with a cover that doesn’t include the band name nor the album title.

Calliope Musicals "Color/Sweat" (2019 Rhyme & Reason Records)
Full credits to @bfly for introducing the board to this fine whacky record. This spin is brought to you by the GloFX glasses that came with album. This is exactly what the music filling my room looks like right now.

This was a strong contender for me today, but it had been far longer since I'd spun Anjimile so I went with that instead.

It was in my "current rotation" flip rack thingy, so it was a bit of a low hanging fruit over here. It's been slated for another visit to the table and today worked. My back-up was Embryonic by the Flaming Lips. And come to think of it, it would have been on-brand to take the photo of that album with the GloFX glasses too.

Speaking of low hanging fruit (and prisms), I'll take the obvious choice today.

Yep! That's what I was playing when I decided to use this challenge.

Minor Threat - Salad Days

Pretty icon picture for the cover, some 36 years later. Listening to this definitely takes me back to my hardcore days. Excuse me while me and the cats form a mosh pit in my office.
