Static click on only right channel?

So after putting on my new cart and aligning it, I get a static click whenever I start any album. One sweep with an anti-static brush and it clears up just fine. The weird thing though is that this click only comes through the right channel. Is this indicative of the cart not being aligned properly?

While I have no answer, I'm here to piggyback your issue.

For me, it alternates left to right at the start of an album. It's a brand new turntable that I set up tonight with speakers and amp that I've been using for years, and it happened on all three albums I've played so far. It sounds just fine, pretty fantastic actually, after the pops stop.
