My wife and I are binging through the 3 seasons of The Great Canadian Baking Show. Not exactly the same feel as the British version, but still highly enjoyable!
Uh yes I will for sure be watching this. Where did you find it?My wife and I are binging through the 3 seasons of The Great Canadian Baking Show. Not exactly the same feel as the British version, but still highly enjoyable!
It's not on any of the streaming services, but we were able to find all of season 1 at least on Daily Motion.Uh yes I will for sure be watching this. Where did you find it?
I figured as much. Cool. I will be checking it out soon. It's not on any of the streaming services, but we were able to find all of season 1 at least on Daily Motion.
Starting this after I finish Bly Manor~(Which is also good! Episode 5 especially).I'm really liking the Queen's Gambit. I'm on episode 6 and I'm really enjoying it. I highly recommend it.
I finished episode 4 last night, it’s so good.I'm really liking the Queen's Gambit. I'm on episode 6 and I'm really enjoying it. I highly recommend it.
I started it, but I never finished it. It was really out there, and I like out there stuff, but yes, this got into a realm of confusing that even lost me.Has anybody seen Dispatches From Elsewhere?
I finished it last night and I didn't fully understand it but it was entertaining. And then the last episode came and it lost me. That last episode made no sense at all and fucked the whole series. Unless it has some kind of metaphorical meaning that I didn't get.
It was really good TV plus Tymothy Olyphant makes everything better. The Mandalorian proves that television is best medium for telling stories.
the last Star Wars movie was very intense and non-stop action. Almost to a fault.
Television allows a beat. It gives scene setting and tension. Pacing. Something that movies lack. Give the last Star Wars movie a 10 episode season on Disney+ and it would be so much better.
Truth Seekers on Amazon Prime is pretty good...I binged all episodes last night.
Not exactly on par of the usual things with Edgar Wright, but Nick Frost and Simon Pegg still do a good job.
Recommend Ted Lasso to anyone looking to sooth their nerves. Finished the whole thing in less than a week. It's wonderfully wholesome.
To each their own I suppose, but there were more than a few moments in each episode I found ha ha funny. Moreso, it's a feel-good, bring-a-smile-to-your-face comedy that balances some decent drama in there too.I've watched the first three episodes, and will probably finish it at some point, but I will say that I don't really find it funny. I don't honestly think I've laughed at all.
