Watched the first ep last night and was surprised how much we liked it. But with Martin and Short it would at least have some laughs even if the story was not interesting.

That looks great. Seems like it may do the Robert Jordan Series justice. Wild that Amazon is doing this and the new LOTR series; they are going all in on the Fantasy genre. Thankfully there are a lot of nerds out there.

I had to switch to Audiobook to get through it, but it felt like it was worth it in the end. Jordan was REALLY bad at writing women characters, he had some obvious issues. Sanderson finished it up nicely in my opinion. But I do imagine much of that middle slog will be condensed for TV.

My takeaway finishing Sanderson's "Way of Kings" was the same as when I finished Eye of the World: An alright 1200 page story that could've been a great 700 page story.

I'm going to have to differ with you there, as I'm all in on Stormlight and pretty much everything Sanderson has written. I much prefer large multi-volume Epics to shorter more concise novels. But to each their own.

I went in to it thinking, "this will at least be fun because its Steve Martin and Martin Short". And it turns out, its legitimately very good! Very pleasantly surprised so far!

It can be a bit over the top sometimes, but we are enjoying it. The odd jazz references and Mc system are cool kind if like seeing the turntable on House or the system in As Good As It Gets..

Also like the character actors they use

We finished Bosch Season 7 last night, really enjoyed most of it. Apparently they are making a spinoff for Amazon about Bosch being a PD

Finished watching Bojack Horseman the other day. All the people that have been telling me to watch this were right! It's really good, funny, and worth the watch.
