‘Futurama’ Revival Ordered at Hulu With Multiple Original Cast Members Returning
Good news, everyone! "Futurama" is being revived at Hulu.variety.com
The first season just kind of baffled me, but I'll probably end up watching S2 out of morbid curiosity.Anyone watching Raised By Wolves? I'm really enjoying the new season so far. Father is such a great character.
Yeah, The first run is superior to the initial revival but there are still only at 7 seasons and 140 episodes. I think there is still some worthwhile stories in there to be told.Really wish they'd just let it rest tbh.

Interesting, What has weakened for you? I revisit them fairly regularly. I still hold them in pretty high regard. I think they have their flaws just curious what you find less appealing this time through.Mrs and I rewatched the LoTR movie trilogy (expanded versions) in hour long chunks over a couple of weeks. Did not hold up well, but still curious about the series.
The acting and story is great, but the Penthouse soft focus of the cinematography would constantly pull us out of the story. I know it sounds petty but when you are married to a film major you hear about it constantly. I find it is tough for any effects-rich movie to not look dated the further away you get from the original. That said I still rewatch Alien and the monochrome computer screens don't both me at all, so who knows.Interesting, What has weakened for you? I revisit them fairly regularly. How about The Hobbit prequels? They seem to have less of the soft focus effect as the LOTR movies. There is about a decade between Return Of The King and An Unexpected Journey maybe they refined the effects enough by then? The acting and story is great, but the Penthouse soft focus of the cinematography would constantly pull us out of the story. I know it sounds funny, but I have been lucky to see a lot of great movies for the first time up on a 70mm screen and that can really affect how you remember it when you see it again on a 50in screen 10 feet in front of you.
The Problem with those is that tgey were pretty terrible in the Cinema right upon releaseHow about The Hobbit prequels?
She studied to be a cinematographer.I don’t quite understand how being a film major would give one a distaste for soft focus, but to each their own, I suppose.
