Binge watched Reacher. It's like a long form 80's action movie. Herculean ex-military guy gets involved in ridiculously involved crime plot. Ultra violent shenanigan's ensue with a smattering of snarky one liners and some bewbs for spice.

His character is a little unbelievable, but just like Arnold, Stallone, and JCVD, it doesn't matter. You just want to see him crack bad guy heads, and boy does he. Holy crap.

Feeling a strong 6, light 7 on this one.

I’ve been really enjoying The After Party on Apple, but I only saw some criticism of it when it premiered. Personally I think it’s doing what it’s supposed to be doing. It’s funny and does keep me engaged in the overall mystery. Also every episode being a new genre style is a nice trick. I think it’s a lot of fun.

Just watched the first episode of Severance and yeah I’m in. It does indeed remind me of Black Mirror. But I’m sure there’s a lot more going on here to be reveled so it’s hard to even wrap my head around what it is yet. I’ll do episode two tomorrow. Don’t think I could handle two hours of this cold bleak feeling tonight.

We just started The After Party today and are enjoying it so far. I'm excited to see where it goes.

Severance is on the list too but I'm waiting until more episodes have gone up.

At this point I've watched almost every AppleTV+ show and I don't know if they've made a bad one yet.

Yes! I wasn't sure about it at first (Tiffany Haddish gets on my nerves) but enjoy the way the different perspectives play out based on their personalities. The Yasper episode should not have worked as well as it did...it was a total delight.

And speaking of that team, I'm incredibly excited for this new pirate comedy series starring Rhys Darby and Taika Waititi.

Oooh, this will be added to the list of shows to watch.

I finally was able to catch up to episode 4 of the Guilded Age. I absolutely love it and my husband is now hooked too.

Started watching Raised By Wolves since a few of you had mentioned it... This show is BONKERS.
I enjoyed the first season of RbW. It’s provocative and the production design is memorable. Still, it felt a bit muted and under baked. I’m looking forward to keeping up with it this season. I have a feeling it’ll flourish now that the writers room is more established. The first episode of season 2 seemed a bit more assured.

I noticed things changed quite a bit in Expanse S4; we are on E3 and it's an almost dizzying amount of storylines...but I love the journey and have to assume most of them will funnel together.
I think S4 was its best season. A lot of different storylines came out and would coalesce in S5 and S6.

I still hope that they do seasons/movies for the last 3 books.

Season 4 is sort of like a sci-fi haunted house tale but still as subversive as the show ever got. It’s so good.

My wife and I are both loving it....and it binges well. I'm guessing the source material is excellent too? I may have to read the books.
