Watched the first ep of Daisy Jones. Meh, nice to watch but not really engaging. Needs more Timothy Oliphant, like everything in life.
I watched all three episodes available and really liked it. I might have teared up when Simone told Daisy that she noticed her at shows because Daisy was there for the music. Really felt a connection there.

I wasn't a huge fan of the racing one. I thought it was the weakest of them but it was a nice 70s throwback episode.
It was nice that it was only attempted murder for a change. While I would prefer for most episodes to center around murder I wouldn’t mind if they were to spread the crimes around a bit.

Click on the baby yoda a few times. Hehe
this baby is really fucking shit up. i keep waiting for him to put it all back together. but once i hit the NPR link, i realized it wasn’t going to happen.
i was just reminiscing about Angelfire and Geocities recently… or was it Geocites?? it’s not that i don’t remember, it’s more that i never had it right in the first place.

omg remember ALTA VISTA?? my first search? the first place i ever searched for porn. i’m so old.
My wife has an audition for Umbrella Academy this week, and another for a new show from the guy that did Narcos. Kinda geeking out a bit over here...
FUCKIN’ RAD

I love Barry but but I think it loses some clout, from a pop culture standpoint because it’s extensively viewed as a “Comedy”.

I mean, Atlanta is a top 10 show of all-time for me. As is Louie. And I adore dramadies ranging from Dave, White Lotus, The Bear, The Boys, ext.

I just feel like the dramatic beats don't always land for me in Barry, and it's tonally uneven in places imo. And I'm a big fan of Hader in dramtatic roles (ala The Skeleton Key) so it's definitely not him.

I thought last night’s episode was the finale of The Last of Us, so I’m just excited there’s still one more.

Also as far as Barry goes, I wasn’t super high on it till season 2. And I think season 3 was kind of brilliant for how it subverted expectations and delivered the next step of the story.

This this this. But moreso after tonight's episode!

The Last of Us just gets better and better. Seriously trying to think of the last time HBO made a show where each week was compelling without a bit of drop off. True Detective Season 1?

My god, what another fantastic episode last night. Bella for the Emmy?
