Television

I’m only halfway through Shrinking but it’s been a pleasant surprise. I wish there were more shows like this. The cast feels really well balanced and the pace and tone are just right. It’s like a little oasis in a sea of great shows that are fraught with tension. It manages to be compelling without being exhausting.

We finished it last night. Totally agree. Some of the stuff with the neighbor leans a little too hard on their 'bored rich people' shtick, but overall the show consistently makes me LOL. Harrison Ford is fantastic and Jessica Williams is a delight.

Agree blasted thru this over the last two days , great series, Harrison Ford is great, really well written , loved it

Almost done with season 2 of Hightown. I here season 3 is expected soon. Looking forward to that. This show is dope (excuse the pun).

What a hidden gem, and is set locally to me with it mostly taking place in MA / The Cape.

What a fucking delight it is to have Succession back for one more go around. Forget how much I love this show in between seasons.
We are on episode 4 of season 3. I anticipate finishing the next 6 before the end of the week, so will be caught up by the time next week's new episode airs.

I do love binge watching so between Succession and Ted Lasso, I will be very impatient over the next 2 months

Two things I may have missed on Succession:
Did they call themselves The Disgusting Brothers in previous seasons?
Did most people called Logan 'Loge' in previous seasons? Because S4E1 used it a ton.

Continuing my binge-watch of Party Down. What a cast, and so many other known actors/comedians have wandered through that show, I had no idea. And yet, it isn't great in my opinion. Some laughs here and there for sure, and I'll keep on it, I'll watch the newest season because the show certainly doesn't suck. Turns out my wife doesn't care for it. At one point she said 'this is too hectic for me before bed.'

My memory (which is hazy) is that “Disgusting Brothers” came up casually in S3.

Also I think “Loge” was used a lot at the party to indicate how isolated Logan is now. It was being used by people who were trying to be chummy with him. That is just my take.
