The football thread RenegadeMonster is looking for: NFL talk

Seeing top quarterbacks' primes being wasted is so sad 😭
As someone from the area that listened to a lot of sports talk radio and watches a lot of Seattle sports (though I am a Chicago sports fan) the issue at the end of the season IS Russ, they’re offense reverted back to the run heavy model the Carroll prefers after the Bills game where they got blown out. Rumor has it that Russ likely is either hurt or has a bad case of the yipps. Part of it was when they “let Russ cook” he wasn’t serving up enough first Downs and the offense would turn over the ball so fast that the Defense was always completely gassed. They finally gave up on letting Russ cook and it helped them end their losing streak and led to them winning the NFC West. In this game the issue was more the Rams defense being dominate and the few times the Seahawks had opportunities to break a big play, usually the receiver dropped the ball. That game was terrible overall but the reason they lost wasn’t because of the offense (except for the pick 6).

He was great at one point definitely, but idk, the last decade has felt like nothing but wheel spinning. Start the season off strong, play down to 2-11 teams, lose, rely desperately on a wild card berth, and some other team losing to make the playoffs, lose the first round. If we're even good enough to make it to the playoffs at all. Getting pretty old. I would say that Ben should've been gone long before Tomlin though.
And this.
