Really what do you think Nagy and Pace are playing at here? Do they think Fields can't handle LAR and CLE pass rushers in the first few weeks? Do they think being bad and maybe ending the season on a good note after a QB switch will save their jobs for one more year?Down 13 It’s a shame the Bears don’t have any player they could put in to potentially spark the Bears offense

The latter. It gives them an excuse and they are hoping that everyone will be so hyped once Fields come on that everyone will just ignore the fact that they went with the worse QB for the first quarter of the season.
I’ve spent a good chunk of the 3rd quarter wondering if Eric Bieniemy will still be around to hire given they will have to find a new GM first.

I will say if I was a Rams fan I would be a bit worried about the inability to stop The Bears rushing attack. Chris Carson and the Seahawks would likely have 250 rushing yards.

Yeah and it's not like SF has creative run plays and get their speedsters into the underneath space. I'm willing to bet this is just gameplan after going up early and not thinking the bears can push the ball downfield. Something to watch though.

Seriously though, Knew the Bears were likely terrible but what the hell happened to GB’s Offense!?!! I woulda been better off starting Zack Wilson this week. The Packers were a freak TB12 drive away from the Super Bowl last year. This embarrassing L has to feel like a bit of a gut punch.

The Saints played well on both sides of the ball but the Packers issue was bigger than the Saints D.

Agreed, this was clearly a Packers issue. The Saints are good, but not that good. It is the biggest head scratcher from yesterday

Hope about Ryan Day? He's likely to make an NFL jump someday and obviously knows Fields / lessens the new coordinator / offense concerns.
Plus he gets the Bears next week do that should be an easy win. I can already see Chase wide open 50 yards down field on the Bears secondary

Eddie got paid then Eddie decided he don’t need ta tackle. Sadly, the Bears don’t have anyone on the roster to replace him so they can’t really bench or cut him. I would have paid him too based on his past performance but it would be a good idea to have some viable back up candidates on the roster.

Cannot overstate how much of a scared loser Joe Judge and the NY Giants are. So glad my Eagles tanked the final game last season to keep them out of the playoffs and scooped them for Devonta Smith in the draft.
