The Good Ol' Grateful Thread

Ugh, I wish they would just hang it up so I don't have to beat myself up as to whether to go an see D&C again, which leads me to my inevitable, John Mayer sucks internal dialogue. Saw some pretty mediocre shows at Wrigley but I do wonder about this venue, since it seems that people generally liked the shows. If they could just pick up the damn glacial tempo I might be in again.

PS Still digesting The Rhythm Devils set but so good.

Funny you say that about Wrigley. My brother went the last few times they were there and they were some of his favorites outside of Citi Field a couple years and Oracle Park for the "final shows"

Putting aside the performance, I will admit that the last show was in 2021 and it was the night that it rained and we were evacuated several times. They never really clicked at all for me, but hey, I suppose I'm one of those Jerry guys. That being said, I saw some wonderful shows at Terrapin Crossroads with Phil and Friends that kicked the crap out of the D&C shows. I'll take Stu Allen over Mayer any day.

trouble ahead, Jerry in red!
