I’d say that’s probably the heaviest area of that Demographic in DCYeah it seems like Arlington is worth a look for sure for 30 year old young professional demographic

My friend up there loves CD Cellar in Falls ChurchUpdate. Found a place in Arlington. Anyone have recommendations for record shops? I'll need a new local.
CD Cellar in Falls Church, Crooked Beat in Alexandria, Right On! in Herndon (which is a very short walk from the *excellent* Aslin Beer Co Taproom), and, if you're down for a drive, Dig! Mobius Records in Fairfax is quite good for new records. CD Cellar and Crooked Beat do both new and used, Right On! is entirely used, but with excellent curation, and Dig! is mostly used with a small new section upstairs.
There are also a number of good shops in DC proper, but I spend less time there. ALSO, Capital AudioFest is in November and has a pretty significant used record fair.
Garin at Right On is a good dude. They and Dig both have good Insta accounts. Thanks! My current local set up is a mom and pop that I can pre-order indie releases from and sell stuff to for a little better than 50% discog credit and then a mostly used store that pays 50% discogs cash.
Seems like I'll be able to find that

I would mention Mobius in Fairfax but they tend to have a line from the wee hours.Best store in NOVA for RSD? Preferably where I can get there at like 7am or so and still have a good chance at most things

That’s kinda why I gave up on RSD.I need options. I just don't want to have to camp out at like 4am and still not got what I'm after

Mobius, Records and Rarities, and CD Cellar are good options.
where did you end up going?Understandable. But there's stuff I want and I'd rather support local over trying online lol
where did you end up going?
For next year, Mobius is super popular but they also get a huge shipment/variety of stuff, so it’s worth checking. I dropped by earlier and it was pretty damn busy even after lunch.I was in PA for work so ended up going to a store up there
The Birchmere is a seated venue. It’s kinda like a dinner theater?I'm seeing Kamasi Washington Wednesday at Birchmere but can't tell if it's seated or not. Anyone know how to check?
