It's beyond fugly.Me neither.
I'd rather she show up tonight than at MSG No disrespect intended....Thanks. Haven't seen them since the Trouble Will Find Me Tour so I am excited. Maybe T Swift will show up but I am thinking the New York show.
It's beyond fugly.
I have weirder hopesMy song wish list for tonight. This Is The Last Time, Lemonworld, Secret Meeting and Brainy. I know I don't want much.
Hey @Twentytwo since you live in Nashville and are going tonight, do you have any suggestions for parking? I’m eating dinner now but headed there soon. No idea where I am parking at
It's okay. I ended up parking right near the venue, for $30...a bit pricey, but super easy. Actually compared to when I was in Nashville a couple of weeks ago for John Oliver this experience was so smooth and easy. Cool to meet you last night too! I wasn't expecting it.Sorry saw this so late but I usually park at Music City Center for $15. And it was great to finally meet some N&G friends tonight.
So happy for you about Baby We'll Be Fine! And you also got Sea of Love!!!The National Setlist at Ascend Amphitheater, Nashville
Get the The National Setlist of the concert at Ascend Amphitheater, Nashville, TN, USA on August 15, 2023 from the First Two Pages of Frankenstein Tour and other The National Setlists for free on setlist.fm!www.setlist.fm
So, I didn't get any of the songs I was hoping for, but I knew they were long shots anyway. But hey Baby We'll Be Fine? Amazing. Also really loved seeing Conversation 16 again. And Smoke Detector was so good. I couldn't understand most of what Matt was saying during it, but the guitar interplay was incredible and so loud. I hope it stays that way on the record. So two songs I thought I would get for sure were Ice Machines (love the live version) and Weird Goodbyes (have come to really enjoy this song) - but neither one of those happened. About Today was a great ending though. So when I saw them last year at Moon River, they were really good and loud and loose, but I think seeing them on this tour they've gotten even better. Matt especially seemed much more comfortable - and interacted a lot more. Like seeing About Today live last year, right near my home was such a great experience, but this version of it was miles better cause he seemed much more into it.
All that said, I got maybe 4.5 hours of sleep. And as much as I'd like to see them again tonight in Atlanta, I don't think my body could handle it. I am exhausted.
Of course the National Nashville poster sucks.
They are already out in New Zealand apparently.I *need* to hear the two new songs now. That is all.
Tried using VPN but Spotify won’t let me change my country. Some others were able to change it to NZ and stream them. They are already out in New Zealand apparently.
This one is better.
