We should take bets on which of the 3 leaves the Nets first? My money is on Kyrie, he seems fairly impossible to work with for prolonged periods of time.
THE EAST RUNS THROUGH CLEVELAND.damn, here i thought the Cavs could snag the 8th seed ! ( just kidding , didnt really think that )

The funny part is that I think all 3 can leave in 2022 because I think they can all become free agents then.We should take bets on which of the 3 leaves the Nets first? My money is on Kyrie, he seems fairly impossible to work with for prolonged periods of time.
Well, it that is the case the only one they might end up keeping might be Kyrie as the other two are getting a bit long in the tooth. The funny part is that I think all 3 can leave in 2022 because I think they can all become free agents then.

What did they actually give up though? They got Allen which is a nice pickup.
Cavs gave up a 2nd round pick in 2024seriously , i didnt even see that the Cavs wer einvolved until your post
2022 1st rounder ( BUCKS) , Exum
They got Allen for Exum and a 2nd rounder and the Bucks 2022 1st. Not too shabby.seriously , i didnt even see that the Cavs wer einvolved until your post

I get why the Nets did it. But still...if I'm reading it right, the next 8 years the Nets will not control their draft. Thats a lot to give up for a team with 1 superstar who just decides when he wants to show up to play, another who is coming off a devastating injury and a third who gives up on his team every chance he gets and crumbles in the playoffs every year. And with no bench really.Crazy ass trade.
It feels like the Paul Pierce/KG trade all over again though a super sized version.I get why the Nets did it. except Harden in his prime is way better than old ass KG and PP. the worry is that if the team doesn't mesh by next season, all 3 guys can just bounce. It feels like the Paul Pierce/KG trade all over again though a super sized version.
True I was more speaking to the mortgaging the future to win now element of it all. If this doesn’t work The Nets are gonna be SOL for the next decade.except Harden in his prime is way better than old ass KG and PP. the worry is that if the team doesn't mesh by next season, all 3 guys can just bounce.
Probably worth it for them. Most teams would give up a lot to win one chip. Cleveland doesn’t regret it I’m sure.True I was more speaking to the mortgaging the future to win now element of it all. If this doesn’t work The Nets are gonna be SOL for the next decade.
