Re: Ben Simmons from a sixers fan in order of preference.
  1. Ben Simmons slightly improving is the sixers best chance at a championship. By improving I don't mean shooting, I mean driving more and improving his ft% to ~70%. It seems this ship has sailed.
  2. If they can't trade for an all star caliber player, which doesn't seem to currently be available, they should trade for as much draft capital as possible and flip that for a star player when the opportunity arises. This comes with risk of punting this year but I think maximizes a championship window.
  3. Trade for an undervalued guard scorer. We tend to think these type of players are "losers" until they start playing on a good team. Think early Devin Booker or Zach Lavine. Potential targets for the sixers here would be Sexton or Garland from the Cavs.

Just want to point out since it's cumulative all of u better be in for the long run lol! If u quit halfway thru the season whoever plays you post quit will likely sweep or have a decisive victory and skew the standings! That's all. Just don't be a quitter 😁😇

This all makes a ton of sense
I would be happy with Sexton but not sure how he helps or hurts Maxie's development (if it matters)

Thank god Wiggins got his vacination. Dude was so low maintenance last season I bet this came as a surprise to the coaching staff. All the non-comments about him caving in makes me think the team put pressure on him. Which is good, get vaxxed people.

Do you not like the idea of a potential Ben for McCollum trade? Not sure if it's even been offered...but especially if blazers added draft capital or any young players? You add shooting + shot creation. Defense becomes an issue...

I'd be hesitant to go after Sexton because A) he wants to get PAID this upcoming offseason and B) he supposedly hasn't been great in the locker room. I'd be a bit worried about him and Maxey but if you aren't all that convinced on Maxey then maybe it makes a bit more sense...

I'd also be curious what teams would offer lots of draft capital for Ben and how much would be "enough" for Morey? It's all been said before, but Ben is interesting because he seems to want to be the guy to be built around based on recent reports, yet I'm not sure what rebuilding team would want him right now? And on top of that, who would trade tons of draft capital for him unless they seem him as the missing piece to be a contender? Having trouble thinking what team he fits best on that would give up draft capital that would sway Morey...
