Good album. Has some nice big tracks. Not a patch on I and III

Edit because of course they famously never had singles despite “Whole Lot Of Love” ironically being the background music for the top 10 countdown on Top of the Pops…

I understand the appeal of this album, and time has been great to it as far as radio is concerned.

Yet ... Sorry, but there's only four songs on this I truly enjoy listening to. MUCH prefer Houses of the Holy.

5/5 for historical significance.
3/5 for personal enjoyment.

HOH is my favorite Zep album as well.

Also, 4 songs is nearly half the album.
 
I don’t agree with his assessment of every song, but I do agree with Lester overall about this album:

For every Peace Frog/Roadhouse Blues there is a song I hate and reminds me why those bookend albums are the ones worth having.
