I misread the artist’s name at first and was like I’ve never even heard of this J Cole album.

I don’t hate it so far (bad British rapper guy aside)

It’s best when it feels like a cool jazz sampling collab between Brand New Heavies and Deee-Lite.

Mostly makes me wanna listen to Brand New Heavies or Lady Miss Kier.

Seriously though, I bought this on Cassette in middle school from a bargain bin as was my habit. I knew Stairway and all the other songs they played on the radio. I was not ready for the weird that is this brilliant album.
