Leif sold me carrots and sugar cane today, and I found potatoes on an island. So far most of my Kapp'n islands are just covered with holly shrubs

Realized last night that the Harv's Island vendors don't just hang around 24/7...which makes sense, but dangit I missed my opportunity to see if Leif had some new produce for me!

Interesting. The only times I've seen them disappear is if they are on my main island that day. And the stock only changes once a week so you'll have another chance to see what he has.

Oh good to know about the once-a-week thing, that makes me feel better. I've been having terrible luck with finding produce on Kapp'n islands. And maybe Leif was on my island yesterday, and I just logged on too late to see him? Because I didn't find an island visitor last night, so it could have been him.

I still need wheat, which is important for a lot of the recipes. I'm not really sure how many crops there are but I think I've found four so far.
 
Leif and Kicks, I believe, have hours that he operates within, I think 5 AM to 10 PM, that apply on Harv's Island and on the home island. Other vendors are functionally 24 hours a day or at least later on.

Still just a big ole potato party on my island, and that's it.

That makes sense, since I logged on at like 10:15. Do you know if their hours are affected by the town ordinances?

I might be able to send you some crops later when I play if we're friends in the game but maybe like 3-5 of each. I have tomatoes, carrots, sugar cane and potatoes.

That's a great question. My gut says no since they're not housed on your home island but I haven't tried. It'd be nice tbh.

I'll give it another few days and see what I can come across organically, I'm not in a big rush to start cooking, more so in a rush to get my farm space set up 😂 ...I need to decide if I wanna nuke my pumpkin patch I made last year and move it into a bigger area, or just keep it there because it's cute and plant my other crops elsewhere #firstworldproblems

If it does, it might be enough to get me to choose that ordinance. Even though it only changes the time by an hour, I find myself opening the game right after the shop has closed surprisingly often
 
Just got my first 'off-season" Kapp'n trip, a summer island with the shells. Trying to catch all the fish I can to build up the recipes.
 
I have wheat, sugar, tomatoes, carrots, potatoes--and obviously pumpkins--growing on my island right now. Should be able to make flour tomorrow, though I'm not a big fan of eating in the game. My daughter, however, loves eating in the game, then using the bathroom. It's probably her favorite part of animal crossing. "That takes care of that!" and cue hysterical laughter.
