The Roost - All things Animal Crossing: New Horizons for Nintendo Switch

I’m a peach island, I’ve also got apples, oranges, pears and coconuts I can mail to folks. Still searching for cherries.

I did not buy any turnips today ... Feel free to judge me
Well that was silly.

I know it's possible to make a profit on them, but having played this game since City Folk, I really have those turnips and constantly having to check the price on them.

And I never have extra bells to spend on them anyway

Does anyone have flowers other than tulips, wildflowers, cosmos, pansies, and hyacinths? My shop seems to only carry those species.

Peaches are my native, but I've gotten all the fruits and have a section of nothing but fruit trees growing and I've lined the beach with about 15 coconut trees :)

I've planted a 10K money tree every day I've played so far so after a full week we should be able to harvest 30K from those daily.........which brings me to my question for @EvanBenner , I could swear I read somewhere that the max you can pull from a money tree is 3 10K bags regardless of anything above that, I guess I'm wondering how you bury more than 10K, do bigger bags exist? The largest I've seen is 10K, or is there a method to this?

Anyway, I'm only 4 days in, but if anyone needs anything I can help with, please ask. Would like to visit someone in the Southern hemisphere in time since we in the Northern won't ever see some of the items they have ;)

Still enjoying the game quite a bit, still think the Switch Lite is a great little system :)

After digging up the glowing bag of 1,000 bells, turn toward the hole and open your inventory. On the bottom left, go to your bell total. The menu will give you a selection of 100, 1,000, 10k and your total number of bells rounded down to the nearest thousand. Selecting any of these will create a bag in your inventory for that total.

If you have too many and you want a specific amount (e.g. 50k out of 85k bells) hit the 10k and 1,000 bells options a few times to move bundles to your pockets till you are happy with your held sum. Then create that single larger bundle of 50k from what's left. Select that large bundle in your inventory and choose Bury.

Anything over 10k isn't guaranteed to return more than 30k, but I've gotten 150k enough times to make burying 50k each time and losing 20k on a few returns still worth it.

You can bury the full 99k if you want (some say they have), but I'm happy with taking my chances at dropping 50.

I’ve heard that the money trees will only harvest once, is that correct?
