Every town has its own color and you can only get the others by trading with somebody else.

I've also got a bunch of extra DIYs laid out in my town square if anyone wants anything. Got a couple Ironwood DIY Workbench ones. Gates are open.

A couple days ago I got a really cool idea for a whole island theme centered around the immovable things on the map (river inlets and visitors services). MY island is now in complete and utter shambles... there is some regret as the realization that this project will take weeks without time travel and require all my efforts be put into terraforming but I think in the end it’s going to be awesome, at least, let’s hope!

If you have someone else in your household playing on your island, can they buy turnips? I found Daisy Mae on the island this AM but she doesn’t appear when my fiancée plays on her own...maybe because she just started playing yesterday?

Yes. You'll both be able to buy turnips. Sometimes she's hard to find though. One time it took me a good hour to figure out where she was.

Edit: Speaking of which, I haven't found her yet today

Ah. Well good to know for the future. I did a quick lap around my island and couldn't see her. Thought she'd be in the same place for both of us but she wasn't there for one of us.
 
Yo! Thanks for the springy’s y’all! I got two pink horsies ready to go, who wants em?!

Also, Hamlet will be in boxes and ready to move out either today or tomorrow if anybody wants to claim him.
