The Super Thread - All Things Marvel/DC/Etc

I'm on the fence about Tatum. Gambit was my favorite and I think Tatum is too goofy for it. I enjoyed the few minutes of him, but it's more him than the character which I don't like for long term casting.

I actually enjoyed him far more than I expected I would.

There are a number of big names not here, like Hugh Jackman, Ryan Reynolds, Mark Ruffalo, Elizabeth Olsen, Paul Bettany, Chris Pratt, Benedict, etc. I wonder if its gonna be similar in structure to Infinity War / Endgame where you have one cast to focus on for the first movie - Doomsday, then a second heavy hitter cast for Secret Wars

Also glad to see Shang-Chi get some more screen time. That was a fun movie.

Biggest surprise for me is the lack of Iman Vellani in the casting announcements.

Speaking of Ms. Marvel... it was a real treat to see Mohan Kapoor in one of last night's Daredevil episodes - he is one of my favourite supporting characters in the MCU

One more thought, and maybe the most glaring omission:

No sign of Wong and Madisynn? We can't have seen the last of this iconic duo!

I really hope they're planning on introducing a new X-Men cast in this movie, because 60 year-old Nightcrawler and Beast casting established in the worst X-Men movie aren't inspiring. These movies need forward momentum, badly. I thought bringing RDJ on as a villain could be a fun remix, but I don't know how many more times they can kill Pat-Stew Professor X.
