Good looking out, will do!If you are patient go for a clean original with the green WB label. Sounds fantastic.

I don't agree with this. I do agree that VMP would not be the ones to do it.The other problem with the "extras" is that nothing more about the Dead needs to be said or explored.
Weird this hasn't shown up on the Dead Reddit page. Would love to see those comments
I mean for sure there are things we may not know through stories and whatnot, but anything related to the general "Story of the Grateful Dead" is well documented at this point.I don't agree with this. I do agree that VMP would not be the ones to do it.
Yeah, that's probably true about the "story" of them, which I guess is what the anthology will try to tell. I mean more like analysis and stuff like Jesse Jarnow writes about in his nightly twitter threads or at Aquarium Drunkard.I mean for sure there are things we may not know through stories and whatnot, but anything related to the general "Story of the Grateful Dead" is well documented at this point.
Also the complete Road Trips series is on Spotify as is the short-lived "Download Series"2) Stream the Dick's Picks collection.
Comment from my friend who knows more about the Dead than I and has an opinion about everything. Found it humorous
“Deadheads may buy. Deadhead reissue vinyl collectors is almost certainly a niche audience. Most DHs probably happy to listen to their old scratchy vinyl. Or, more to the point, throw on a homemade tape of the totally bitchin' September '77 show in Reno they traded with that guy back in '94...”
Yeah now that's the good stuff!I mean more like analysis and stuff like Jesse Jarnow writes about in his nightly twitter threads or at Aquarium Drunkard.
We all know JRAD is where it’s really atthey are too busy acting like Dead & Co. is great to care. That's why I unsubbed.
The price point is mental. The prices in general are getting too mental that some sales barely resemble sales.
haha. Wasn't it cheaper to order the Townes albums separately than in the bundle "sale price" last sale they had?I remember when VMP jacked all the prices up and then had a sale where some albums were still more on sale then they were just week prior
Supposedly Storf said an email with codes will go out. I'm guessing today at 5 is the announcement of it and we'll all get an email blast about it. Discount codes seem to apply to any future anthologies too, not just the one after. I'm still getting the codes and I only bought the BN one.anyone get the email with the discount code? Not like I need it but just curious if I'll get them now after finally buying an anthology
haha everyone keeps saying this and I know it's a joke...but it will NOT go to swaps. It will go to Acoustic Sounds and other places at full price for awhile. No anthology albums have gone to swaps. It's an entirely different inventory, shipping/fulfillment company, etc.7500 at $450. I’ll wait for swaps lol.
