The Dead albums sound great digitally, I have all of them on CD and that's not a bad, certainly more budget friendly, way to go.This is probably blasphemous to say on a vinyl forum, bit I really enjoy the surround sound treatment on this. View attachment 47902
But then we would have to buy CD playersThe Dead albums sound great digitally, I have all of them on CD and that's not a bad, certainly more budget friendly, way to go.
I did the same thing, I already have the MoFi versions of AB, WMD and Skull/Roses (all are amazing if you were curious). I picked up the MoFi versions of From the Mars Hotel and Blues for Allah for about $150 combined. I am considering adding another album but I'm not sure which one. So there you go fellow Canuck @MatherHow is it that I did not buy the new Anthology and I am still about to drop $200CDN on Grateful Dead records? Thanks enablers.
Oh, and I am really digging the Zamrock box much more than I thought I would. It is great.
The Dualdisc only requires a DVD player. But then we would have to buy CD players
Any CD will work in a DVD player! The Dualdisc only requires a DVD player.
I was partially kidding but also my main vinyl setup is not in my living room, it's in my office and I don't have a CD or DVD player in there I have beefed up my digital streaming setup though so I'll check out some of the other recs in this thread for Dead live shows with that.Any CD will work in a DVD player!
Oh, I always forget this. Got my CD set up in my bedroom, but have a blu ray player in the living room and want to put on the new Dave’s pick while I cook/clean todayAny CD will work in a DVD player!
Zamrock came in yesterday and luckily nothing was wrong with it, the booklet it came with surprised me the most. Really looking forward to spinning these this weekend. Only complaint I have is the silly button it came with... Of all things to say or illustrate, I am baffeled by whoever thought it was a good idea to go with what they did.

I had no idea that was the case, I was like I don't feel qualified to have anyone come up to me and have me tell them about artists from Zambia.. At least this makes sense and I could point then to listening to that album"AMANAZ" is an acronym for "Ask Me About Nice Artists in Zambia", btw. Not like I'm gonna be going around wearing that, though...
This is why you’ve got to watch the mini doc! Have you seen that handwriting though? It's like grandpa's cursive. Wacky for sure.Getting a new replacement box (only the box). If it's unnumbered I think I'll write my original number on my replacement box. It's hand written so not that difficult.
