I agree. At the very least, I think the fact another member found it necessary to unblock another thread by you just to say you should leave the group was really uncalled for.
I just report his posts on that post, he can comment elsewhere but if he is only going to complain about my complaint, it is being reported (some of his messages have gone away, not sure if it was my reporting or him just deleting, I suspect the former)
I thought your question was very fair. Cam asking you to DM him about it to get an answer seems real weird.
I mean to be fair he probably did not have much if anything to do with the design of this. He probably just gave the green light to do this anthology and helped out VMP by giving them some albums that would fit the vision and weren’t part of another campaign.

I can’t imagine he would be OK with it though! He literally told a story in the first podcast about going to his local record store just to hold a Blue Note record and look at the artwork and read the liner notes. Come to think of it, I feel he would be kind of disappointed in his own cool minded way.
Yeah, I am really interested in the current releases and how they are designed because of the iconic look they had prior to 66-67. I mean it was also a shot at the box but that was the main purpose of the question

Why should he have to hit him up direct? Why not just like, post publicly about this stupid mistake what everyone's annoyed over? This whole weird 1-on-1 dealing with this issue is just bothering me even more.

I can't help but wonder if 'personalised solutions' are being found one-to-one for those that complain loudly enough. A $50 refund to 20 people has to be more cost efficient than a complete jacket rerun. I'm speculating of course but that's how it feels. I seem to remember something similar happened when they screwed over who knows how many people's Christmas' by failing to deliver all of their holiday albums before Christmas.

I would be very curious for someone to actually respond to the offers for a phone call or DM to see if this is the case. It doesn't seem that far off to me...

this is what I want to avoid, I think they should reprint the sleeve and not give out piecemeal stuff, even personally contacting people seems to piecemeal to me, also if they did a partial refund I would definitely post about it even though I am sure they would ask me not to. I am all for open communication unless there is an actual good reason to not share something

Finally wrote my email to Anthology right now with my complaints. Went back and re-edited it to take out anything that could be misconstrued as non-constructive criticism. Hit send and got the automated email response back with this at the bottom.
