I know VMP didn't officially announce it on Herbie's 80th bday, but this box set has definitely been known for a year now.

I'm starting to think the reason for the delays are because you and I were the only people to actually buy it and they need at least 5 sales before they can press the set. So they're just stalling while they wait for another 3 mugs to come along

There’s 3 sales, because I jumped in on day 1, since I don’t own a single Herbie record. Had I known it would take a year, I would have invested the money instead, used the interest to buy it second-hand, and still had money left to buy a hamburger.
