Yeah, it's a little insane that they keep having to ship out stuff at a cost to them when really anywhere between 10 seconds and 1 minute of just proofreading their concepts before printing would go a long way. Shit happens, but shit seems to happen a LOT for a company selling a product at an already high price.
As far as I can tell (so far) the booklet and other inserts are ok

That was the mistake. Vancouver PUBIC Library. We had to place a sticker over each typo (3000 copies) on a glossy publication since if was the fault of in-house art department.
I totally agree with this, and I didn't mean to imply earlier that the typo was his fault. I was talking about the graphic design choice to arrange the text that way on the spine of the box. Forcing a left-to-right language into top-to-bottom reading mode like that is a design choice that usually jumps out at me because of my own work experience and personal preferences.

this is just....incredible. also make sure you have the right records...people on reddit reported having the wrong records in some jackets and ending up missing an album while having a duplicate of another album...
