Vinyl Me Please Anthology

There are clues:
  1. The first LP by a solo woman in Motown history.
  2. An LP recorded in a single night to capitalize on the title track racing up the charts.
  3. The first mega smash LP at Motown, it was on the charts for more than a year.
  4. Was the only solo LP the artist ever got to make.
  5. Features a Stevie Wonder co-writer covering the Beatles using a talkbox.
  6. By one of the stars of the '20 Feet from Stardom' documentary, a backup singer whose solo LPs are hidden gems.
  7. Completely self-written and self-produced, a rarity for Motown.
  8. Written after a period of writer's block, it's her most underrated LP.

Where are you seeing these clues?

1. Mary Wells?
4. Has to be Tammi Terrell.
7. Teena Marie?

Ok I can see Tammi for £20 or so for Mint or near Mint, a new issue Syreeta for £30, Badu for £20 they won’t be as nice as the expensive ones but there are options

You could take one of the Marvin boxes off my set and put those on instead. That would only leave you with 31 discs in my box set though. Sad face. Disappointing look emoji.
