Is it? Man, I've tried a couple times but can't even get past the third track, Houston Chicks. Should I push through? I love "Doug Sahm and His Band" and was expecting to like this, but so far, no good.

Just got my Joshua Judges Ruth and besides the now to be expected warp and I’ve been to Memphis being riddled with non fill it sounds pretty good. So hype sticker says mastered for vinyl by Ryan K Smith at sterling sound. Now how you would know that no idea there are no markings in the dead wax of RKS or sterling. So if he mastered it for vinyl (whatever that means) it doesn’t appear that he cut the lacquer for it.

Interesting that they had him master it but not cut the lacquer...assuming it's not AAA then?
