Take those four, add the Outlaws record and Waylon & Willie, and perhaps a latter day album like Will The Wolf Survive or Right For The Time and then you’d really be cooking.Waylon Anthology?

I would not be surprised at all. Don’t think they would press all of them as store sclusies.Take those four, add the Outlaws record and Waylon & Willie, and perhaps a latter day album like Will The Wolf Survive or Right For The Time and then you’d really be cooking.
Would be an awful anthology, they're all from the same era and relative sound camp....Sort of sounds like it…or store sclusies.
Just give us a The Mars Volta-esque drop. Can buy as much or as little as possible. I’m also not sure a Waylon anthology is in the cards after the reception to the Willie one. Still 325 copies in the store.I also don't want it to be an anthology because those damn things are priced insanely.
Anyone who spends $42 on Always on Your Mind is insane.Just give us a The Mars Volta-esque drop. Can buy as much or as little as possible. I’m also not sure a Waylon anthology is in the cards after the reception to the Willie one. Still 325 copies in the store.
I'm pretty sure I bought it for like $5 at an antique store.Anyone who spends $42 on Always on Your Mind is insane.
As it should be.I'm pretty sure I bought it for like $5 at an antique store.
I told Storf if he could make VMP Pardner a thing that I’d sign up. Overall I’ve been real pleased with the ROTM’s.Storf says Brooks & Dunn - Brand New Man is in the works
I’ve been pleased too. I’ve gotten almost all of them so far. I just started getting into country music just a few years ago and am still discovering new artists and getting up to speed on the “greats”.I told Storf if he could make VMP Pardner a thing that I’d sign up. What were the duds for you?I’ve been pleased too. I’ve gotten almost all of them so far. I just started getting into country music just a few years ago and am still discovering new artists and getting up to speed on the “greats”.
It’s been a real fun experience for me getting these records every month the last year and a half. Minus a dud here and there.
Rhymes with Ham Sunt. What were the duds for you?
I didn't even know who that was so had to go do some searching on the site, haha.Rhymes with Ham Sunt.
Sam Hunt, Brad Paisley and I was disappointed by the Loretta Lynn record. It’s not bad, but just felt mid-tier compared to some of her other outputs. What were the duds for you?
There really is no other outlet for country records, unless you go the used route. I live in East Tennessee, the birthplace of country music, so the majority of records around here have been played to death. I’ve subscribed to all but Sam Hunt, and have been pleased. I definitely wish they would press more from the nineties, but I’ll take whatever country I can find.I’ve been pleased too. I’ve gotten almost all of them so far. Very true. I’ve started digging through my local stores used country section and have found some decent stuff. But new reissues are harder to come by.There really is no other outlet for country records, unless you go the used route. 90's country gets a bad rap, mostly from ubiquitousness at the time. People acted like Chatahoochie and Boot Scootin' Boogie were awful, but they are great. Haters gonna hate. I need me some Kentucky Headhunters. I actually saw a used copy of pickin' the other day but it was a little pricey.Very true. I used to think I hated 90’s country, but I’ve ended up loving each selection they’ve made from that decade. Would also love to see more.
