Vinyl Me Please Essentials

I'm assuming the website copy trick will work right now to find out for sure what the releases will be, but I'm lazy to give it a try:)
Great minds think alike but apparently I have less to do. Soft Bulletin it is.

Can't get Da Brat to work though.

I like Flaming Lips but have almost 0 knowledge of their vinyl doings and situations. What's the skinny on Soft Bulletin? Is it readily available on vinyl? What's the average going rate for it? Any clear consensus on the audio quality of the readily available qualities? Can we expect the VMP ROTM to be filled with any bodily fluids? (Flaming Lips Blood Vinyl: 10 Copies, $2500, Features Ke$ha, Erykah Badu, Nick Cave, Chris Martin Blood)
It is available a few places for $29.99, which is more than I paid for it a few years ago. Missing from some normal online retail like Bullmoose and Amazon though.

I sure hope they do something cool with Soft Bulletin. Maybe a bonus 7" with the Mokran mixes? A nice sturdy tip-on gatefold would be welcome. Not sure it needs a remaster, but the VMP Phoenix earlier this year was a big improvement over the readily available one, so who knows...

This is a huge favorite of mine - got into the Lips via Yoshimi right about when it was released, then picked up Soft Bulletin a few months later. I'd blast them on my hour long work commute through the New Mexico desert, to the first job I had after college, shortly after my first son was born. The bass on Spoonful Weighs a Ton would rattle the windows in that car. Very fond memories of this time, needless to say... ❤

i would never turn down a time to shit on vmp, if valid, but to throw my hat into the ring, i am pretty fond of flaming lips, have seen them multiple times, once on many hits of lsd, and own at least 3 other flaming lips record. However, I dont own The Soft Bulletin. Its in my want list but I never pulled the trigger. So, I, for one, actually welcome this release as it fills a genuine need for my collection.

I'm with you, I don't own this and never felt I absolutely needed it, but will be very happy to own it. I streamed it the other day, probably the first time I listened to it in at least 10 years and I was surprised how well the songs stuck with me.

I love Soft Bulletin and would love this to be the ROTM, but I might tactically swap it if there are things in the swaps I want and save this for a future month.
Do you think this one will stick around ? I always have such a hard time predicting which will sell out & which will be in perpetual swaption purgatory
