Omg, is music really that much better when you’re under the influence of marijuana/acid/MDMA? Like I can’t imagine liking music more! I mean, I get I’d be in a better mood as I’m super happy, but does my brain all of the sudden hear more details in the music? 🤔

You say "probably." I say definitely. I don't fuck with the anthologies, but some acknowledgment of Detroit techno and the roots of house music might be nice.

Every experience is different every time, and it depends on your mood and even who you are with. Just remember to relax and if anything feels off at any moment, don't be scared to tell someone(hopefully with more experience).

In my case with music it seems sometimes like a different experience, hearing those albums I love but finding new things about them.

And yeah, I giggle and laugh a lot while on acid, so it would be 40% of the time lol.

Not exactly. A lot of people expect to just trip out and see dragons and rainbows or something. When everything else that you explained hits and it isn't what they expected, that's another scenario where things can go sideways. I was actually suggesting that Nathan might experience something very different and it might make it easier for him to embrace and maneuver through it. Then again, I was always kind of into borderline terrifying myself and pushing all the toxins out of me.

Probably the best advice my friend got while tripping and being taken to a hospital after his grandmother-- who owned a church -- tried to exorcise him earlier that night was "it takes a lot to kill a human."

It's subtle differences. Maybe it didn't play with my stomach as much, or the stuff we always had was really clean and more intense. I rarely even a drink a beer these days and it's been a while. It's hard for me to describe, but maybe someone else who commented can. It just hit me in a slightly different space and way.
