Fat Possum is Spiritualized current US label they issued I think their last 2 albums. It would make sense for FP to acquire the rights I know they did the same thing with Royal Trux, and The Walkmen too

FP might not be consistent but I would take a FP record over a Plain/4MWB album everyday and twice on Sunday.

No but the likes of rhino and MOV prove time and time again that you don’t need to settle for “that’ll do” at a lower price point either.

Fair point, but maybe VMP pushing them to do better mastering will have a lasting impact? Wishful thinking I'm sure.

That's the original design, they should be silver metallic like a pill blister pack. If it's following the original packaging. Love that the art print is furthering that look and also using the original artist. Very excited for this.
