Some people are just purists, so makes me feel a bit better but yeah. The Anthology covers mostly everything and has a Vivrant Thing as a bonus so I'm personally happy with it.

I honestly don't know if it's scientifically possible to improve on the 36 Chambers pressing you can find in any record store. It sounds like shit...and it's meant to.

I have the 36 Chambers 7" box set, and the Limited Clear MOV pressing. The Box set is probably the best I've heard it sound, but it still sounds like exactly what you know its always sounded like, dirrrrty and digital.

Hahahaha, it ain't cheap. But you can get it, there's almost always copies for sale. Just make sure they include the casebook. I've seen some that don't and aren't very clear about it and it's kinda the whole set...



EDIT- Just to be clear, the bottom 3 records are not part of the box set. Just the 3 parts along the top of the pic. The casebook on the right holds all the 7", and then the added reproduction of the first promo 7" from Wu Tang.

There’s a big Joni Mitchell box set dropping in a few weeks with a lot of her essential albums, so I’m guessing Joni wouldn’t make sense

Between that new Bernie G box set, the 2019 Kevin Gray, and the 2007 KG/Steve Hoffman AAA reissues I think the market for quality Blue reissues has been done to death. I expect there to be standalone reissues from that Bernie box set too (or at the very least represses of the 2019 Kevin Gray Blue)

Alright, I've kinda forgotten how this all works. Some of these sell out before shipping, right? When should I sign up if I want to guarantee myself a copy? Not sure if I want anything else VMP has done recently but I'm not even sure what that would be.

So what you are saying is I have to pony up for a sealed copy just to make sure.

I was playing it (obnoxiously) LOUD in the car on my way home after dropping the kiddo off with mom today. I'm pumped!!!
