Listening to Beverly Glenn Copeland right now, VERY pleasant so far. Completely unfamiliar.
Yeah, I'm curious to hear this too. I always assumed the lo-fi quality of the album was either due to the recording & mixing and even partially due to how RZA sampled on his EPS & ASR.Excited for Wu-Tang. Very curious to hear how this sounds on 2 LPs.
All of that is true but you’d image you get a bigger sounding version if the tracks have more room to breath potentially resulting in a more booming low end. The album is 61 minutes in length so depending on where the decide to make the cut offs for each side you are talking about approximately 15 minutes per side which should be fantastic. The only limit they would have is based on the compression of the source material so I don’t know how large the gains will be but I’d imagine there is still some room and given it’s arguable the greatest Rap album of all time I am excited to hear the final results too.Yeah, I'm curious to hear this too. YupCan you add tracks and swap still?
I don't see why not.Can you add tracks and swap still?
i am pretty sure they ONLY did wu tang as 2LP not for sound quality but to make the album in the original sequencing
Agreed. Rap albums almost always sound better spread over two LPs. Heavy bass requires wide grooves.I’m sure it’s both. it’ll definitely sound better spread over 2 12s
