Mine is clean (well, aside from some surface noise at the END of side A that literally no one else has mentioned so I assume is unique to my copy) and it's variant 2 on discogs: CH 182 A1 990587 225795E1Those of you who have clean copies of this one, can you post what the matrix is on your Side A/B?
Only side A on variant 2 has different matrix numbers? Sides B, C, and D are the same between both.Mine is clean (well, aside from some surface noise at the END of side A that literally no one else has mentioned so I assume is unique to my copy) and it's variant 2 on discogs: CH 182 A1 990587 225795E1
Good thinking @Mather…my clean copy is also the 990587 variantMine is clean (well, aside from some surface noise at the END of side A that literally no one else has mentioned so I assume is unique to my copy) and it's variant 2 on discogs: CH 182 A1 990587 225795E1
That's GZ doing their thing. It's basically their signature move at this point. Also what is the Side A/B matrix?Replacement Mars Volta sounds good...
BUTTTTTTTTTT wtf is up with crackle on the RUN OUT GROOVES???
Yeah, they have all the stock at a fulfillment center, there would be no way they could play test anything unfortunately.Replacement copy on the way. Fingers crossed for a nice clean copy!
Oh and they refused my request to play test before then send it out
I didn't expect them to tbh, especially with the number of replacements they'll be sending out for this.Yeah, they have all the stock at a fulfillment center, there would be no way they could play test anything unfortunately.
My noisy copy has the same runouts as yours. I don't think "990587" is going to be the "clean" copy of this record.I have a noisy A/B, runouts are:
Side A: CH 182 A1 990587 225795E1
Side B: CH 182 B1 960222 225795E2
Same hereMy noisy copy has the same runouts as yours. I don't think "990587" is going to be the "clean" copy of this record.
How about we all send you a video of our shitty copies and then you can inundate VMP with video evidence that there is a problem with this record? Maybe they're unaware?Ugh, VMP won't send me a replacement until I send a video. That could be a couple of weeks from now until I can make a video. I should have expected VMP would be so picky about replacements and done it before I disconnected everything.
Thanks but I'll take my chances. They assured me there's no chance of it selling out in the next couple of weeks. I should have said Damn, that's going to make it hard to flip the extra copy that I'm getting for free. How about we all send you a video of our shitty copies and then you can inundate VMP with video evidence there is a problem with this record?
I know. Just joking around. Good to know they have plenty of replacement copies to send to everyone with issues. Thanks but I'll take my chances. They assured me there's no chance of it selling out in the next couple of weeks. I should have said Damn, that's going to make it hard to flip the extra copy that I'm getting for free.
