Oh for sure. This is on me entirely. I'm just venting. I knew what I was getting into, and again, for all of these faults, it's very seldom that I don't get a clean copy in the end. So good on them for that. VMP CS continues to be GZs saving grace.

Oh, for sure. Like I just added to my original post, I rejoined for Dolly knowing I might have to ask for a replacement. And I took that gamble with the Herbie anthology too. It usually works out in the end, but it’s a hassle for something they are charging a premium for. As long as people know that going in I suppose.

My refund for Mars Volta came through today, full price of my sub for the month, I can shit on this company all day but they went above and beyond on this one... problem is they shouldn't have to!!!

If they accidentally got their shit together I'd be much more likely to sub for the long haul and actually just ENJOY the records they send instead of rushing to give it a listen to find an issue so I can hopefully get a good replacement vs store credit!

I think I got one of the re-programmed ones - The Brenden-1000. Getting a refund or record off the list plus a replacement when TMV is repressed.

Standard full, the bridge was long gone by the time I signed up again! I actually re-joined for Mars Volta...and Outkast, PE and Wu-Tang, so expect those to be a mess too!!

So last month I was pretty disappointed with The Mars Volta. Not enough for a replacement, but I shared my opinion here. But in the spirit of fairness, I have to equally point out when VMP gets is it right. And assuming the rest of Beverly-Glenn Copeland is as good as the first 4 tracks, this is a full scale home run.

This is an example of the things that have kept me with VMP. The pressing is killer. The packaging is good. The extra art was actually art. Killer recording. Pressing is excellent so far. And best of all, I have never heard this album before. It's interesting. It's different. It's unique. I'm loving this so far. I just wish VMP could crank them out like this more frequently.

Totally agree. But the good job is just too few and far between for me. We've got it through the end of the year, and given the planned $100/year increase in price that'll be the end of it. I'd rather pay a slight premium for the home runs than get 8-10 records that I don't spin often for $33+/record. And as prices keep going up for vinyl in general, I'll buy less overall. Nothing speaks more than your wallet, and there are a lot of options out there.

I first joined in early 2016 (Weezer I think) and it was rare to have problems with AOTMs and exclusives. Now it seems to be other way around
