fwiw, VMP never seems to consider SC releases (or other european/UK releases) when deciding what to reissue. Phineas had a somewhat recent SC release too and they reissued that one. not sure they care about competing with the ORG 45 either.I don’t think it’s Coleman, you can get that AAA 45 or 33 right now in print:

I skipped it too. I think I will have more fun spending the money elsewhere.Thanks. Y'all convinced me, I'm gonna skip the promotion.
i did a 3 month when the promo popped up and i wanted thin lizzy. just gonna pocket store credit the next 2 months for the impulse box, if that ever comes out. miiiight pick up Sun Ra if that ends up being the jazz album. but i haven't been tempted by too much else.I skipped it too. I just remember Storf saying something to the extent of European releases not counting whenever they mention "its been x years since an AAA pressing". Anything done by SC/Pure Pleasure/other labels in Europe or UK seems to be overlooked by VMP.True, but the Phineas and Donny Hathaway they did a Mono mix instead of the standard stereo mix like SC. Also the ORG 45 RPM is in print, Rhino did a AAA 33 in 2010, and Rhino did another sourced from digital more recently in 2015. VMP Classics doesn't really ever do stuff that was reissued that much that often in the US. Not to mention they never do titles that big in the Classics track either.

I don't think anyone had their hopes up, but it was sure fun watching Mather call everyone high. I don't think it's Dylan either. Likely Buffalo Springfield.Sorry if anyone had their hopes up for the Beatles. View attachment 150224
How about Tim Buckley's first album?I don't think anyone had their hopes up, but it was sure fun watching Mather call everyone high. I don't think it's Dylan either. Likely Buffalo Springfield.

They actually brought in some legit writers to do write-ups recently I am hoping Storf’s days of writing content have passed.not gonna lie, I was quietly salivating at the possibility of reading Storfer go deep on Revolver for 6000 poorly written words
he's absolutely a guy who'd pull rank for that assignmentThey actually brought in some legit writers to do write-ups recently I am hoping Storf’s days of writing content have passed.
