Hey, if we can elect a PM who did black face some 20 years later then it should be fine for Joni in the 70s and 80s. (Please note that this is sarcasm, not an endorsement for black face)-grabs "Mathers Big Book of Grievances" from large ornate mahogany shelf and turns to Joni Mitchell chapter-
LIST
1-Too folksy
2-Ropey vibrato
3-Teeth
-adds "Minstrelry"
-closes book, pours scotch, nods silently to no one-
i remember a video disecting the jazz singer and the problematic history of white people getting advancements from white media and the person literally made a list of several celebrities that are still respected who legitimately wore blackface either as a joke or a serious thingHey, if we can elect a PM who did black face some 20 years later then it should be fine for Joni in the 70s and 80s. Yeah, I think 3 total episodes are missing from streaming services because of it. In one Jane Krakowski’s character dresses up as Hall Of Fame Pittsburgh Steelers Wide Receiver, Lynn Swann. In another her character dresses up like her costar Tracey Jordan. Then in the live episode John Hamm’s appeared as an Amos N Andy type character.30 Rock had more than one instance of blackface, and that show ended in 2013.

30 Rock is one of my all time favorite shows but I get why Tina Fey decided to pull those eps.
So do we assume this Dec ROTM will be Hayes "Hot Buttered Soul"?also just because he said it in a Q&A and not in a post or anything.... isaac hayes is basically going to be the "December ROTM".. how every December they do something more classics like for a rotm... the December is probably going to be more indie rock and current (he said I would like it a lot) so don't get your hopes up
I think it means that June is December and December will be June. Never stop VMPing VMP.So do we assume this Dec ROTM will be Hayes "Hot Buttered Soul"?
I am confused.I think it means that June is December and December will be June. Never stop VMPing VMP.
So December is going to be a modern indie rock release instead of it being a more classics oriented pick (as Hayes Black Moses was that pick.)I am confused.
Before picking up the one step I'd have been excited for that, but not no mo.So do we assume this Dec ROTM will be Hayes "Hot Buttered Soul"?
I took to long to hit post and now I'm confused too. Oh well, so long as they still ship me Black Moses this month, I'm good. Before picking up the one step I'd have been excited for that, but not no mo.

Mclusky is a major guess, and los campensinos (butchered the spelling) but that wasn't early 2000sIs the Wales one known? Badfinger? Budgie?
