I'm drawing a blank, are the clues usually given as Essentials, RHH, Classics? Or is it Essentials, Classics, RHH?
Because the Japan connection would tie it to the current leading contender in Classics: Dave Brubeck Quartet's "Impressions of Japan."

BUUUUT yes as @NewsFedora said, England is SIGNIFICANTLY older than 1922 however it is the year that Ireland "left" and founded it's own Republic so it kinda created the current UK as we know it... Maybe that's enough?
