Wait is there a 2lp version?I have it already but a really nice remastered version that's 45rpm would be lovely.

I actually forgot about that and I still need it. At the same time VMP dont seem to care about that. There is a million variants of Slowthai. The main selling point for this new version is "First US Release"That already got a big release this year on vinyl.

That's actually a great point Nathan & one that reinforces the idea that it will not be one of the obvious heavy hitters we are all thinking of. If Da Brat wasn't done last month I'd call for this because that's how storf thinks lol100% !!!
And I don’t understand this clue that gave us! If Storf declares this album to be one of, if not the most, important album in rap history........THEN WHY ISN’T IT AN ESSENTIALS ROTM?!?!?!?!
I feel a "meh" and "ugghh" but "I'll take it thanks" coming with this one lolGreat need to see this AOTM getting restraint and a lack of hyperbole and I’m sure everyone will be glad to add the most important rap a album of all time to their collections. A bit disappointing for anyone who bought ‘He’s The DJ, I’m The Rapper’ from the store a few months ago.
Exactly! “It will not be one of the obvious heavy hitters we are all thinking of”. Amen to that! That's actually a great point Nathan & one that reinforces the idea that it will not be one of the obvious heavy hitters we are all thinking of. Man I would kill for a high quality VMP press of Chronic 2001 it's my favourite album of all time. I dont see storf rating it as "Important" I probably dont either its not the best album just my personal favourite for a bunch of reasonsExactly! “It will not be one of the obvious heavy hitters we are all thinking of”. Amen to that!
I can imagine the R&HH ROTM being Rakim & Eric B’s “Paid In Full”! It’s been recently reissued and I can just imagine VMP doing a nice colour variant of it! Also, I can definitely imagine Slick Rick’s “The Great Adventures Of Slick Rick” being the R&HH ROTM too!
But if we aren’t getting something as obvious or any certified classics like Dr Dre’s The Chronic, Public Enemy’s It Takes A Nation Of Millions, NaS’ Illmatic, Tribe Called Quest’s Midnight Marauders, N.W.A.’s Straight Outta Compton etc, then what are we actually going to get
I want a high quality reissue of Dr. Dre’s The Chronic 2001 !
Which rap album is more important?
Don't pretend you never heard the GRAMMY Award Winning Rap Album of the Year, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis - The Heist.
Ugh that album was absolutely everywhere for me when I was like a sophomore in college. My roommate played it nonstop too. It honestly has a couple fine tracks on it but how it won rap album of the year over Kendrick or Yeezus is beyond words.Don't pretend you never heard the GRAMMY Award Winning Rap Album of the Year, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis - The Heist.
