Vinyl Me Please Rap & Hip Hop

I think I could probably still rap line for line “Shoop” in it’s entirety. Very Necessary was one of the first CD’s I ever purchased. Nothing better than me as a pre-teen singing “Umm, you're packed and you're stacked 'specially in the back Brother, wanna thank your mother for a butt like that” at the top of my lungs.

I also had a huge crush on DJ Spinderella, who was also the DJ for MTV’s Jay Mohr hosted lip-syncing game show Lip Service.

I would never listen to this LP on wax. I don’t think I ever listened to the entire album when I owned it on CD.

I like those tracks myself and nothing against the act at all, I would personally just have zero desire to spin this record or even have it in my collection. I am going to give it a listen on spotify tmrw though as I always do with guesses
 
I was debating dropping RHH as I've found myself not really replaying them as much as Essentials or Classics. Salt N Pepa helps solidify me towards dropping. No offense to those interested but I just don't see myself playing that one more than once. Combined with no good swap options, I'll just switch to subbing back if something good comes along. It is cool if VMP can get the first vinyl reissue or issue of something done. Just not my cup of tea this time. I did enjoy Blazing Arrow. Not thrilled for Rick Ross.

I’m disappointed it will be Salt N Pepa too! I would’ve much rather their debut album because the track “Push It” is a masterpiece that has production like no other! 💎

I’ll definitely grab this Salt N Pepa ROTM but this will be the second time in a row in the R&HH track that I’m disappointed 😔

Just an FYI for those like me that have let their memberships lapse. Looks like the 1 month option is back as is a much cheaper 3 month membership. Still don't see anything upcoming that makes me want to rush back but I'm guessing they lost a lot of members when they had the debacle that resulted from their move over to their new platform and are sweetening the pot. This is only on Essentials and RHH. Classic has the one month sub but the normal prices for the other options.

So are those discounted or the new prices? Because I would definitely cancel and hop back in at that 6 month price. Nvm I see it’s discounted. But I think I would be down for a 6 months rat $120 bucks

sadly if you are already a subscriber for around 5 years or so you wont get this discount....

this is partially why im cancelling but also because i dunno if i want anything until maybe VMP in july
