Vinyl Me Please Rap & Hip Hop

The Pinkprint was Nicki's 6th project (including Mixtapes) and had 6 singles....

I know I definitely won't find an electric blues album with 4 and 21 singles (which doesnt even make sense) so this doesn't work. Just trying desperately to make a connection to The Pinkprint...
I wonder what color they would do for The Pinkprint.. You know it would be green and orange or some other nonsensical mix.

Turd brown to match the music 💩

I'll add my 2 cents for no one to care but Nicki Minaj can rap, she had the tools to make a great rap album and still managed to churn out nothing bit mediocrity for 10+ years. Future Honest is 10x better than anything Nicki ever dropped as an excuse for an album. Die Lit? Whats the deal with this album? I can't get into it at all. Its a mess. MNIMN is a certified classic. It has one dud track the Mase flow feat Kelly Rowland but I even happen to enjoy that, just doesn't fit cohesively into the project as a whole but not enough to discredit its classic term for me

There are some top tier Pusha T songs on MNIMN, and I was into it when it dropped, but honestly I skip about half the songs when I visit it now. I think it would be a good pick for VMP though and I think others would be happy with it. This isn’t the album that will make me come crawling back.

Definitely not the best Push album. But as you said, there are some exceptional tracks from him on this and enough that make it a good album. Plus with it never being on vinyl, it almost creates a cult-like following to it for the collectors.

Admittedly biased with Pusha T. He is one of my favourite rappers all time

i agree she can rap her ass off when she wants too. I wish she would go back to how she was rapping when she first came out but i guess you can never go back lol

Imagine this and then Pinkprint. Shoot me, please. They would be stealing my money without even having the decency to wear a balaclava and hold me up in person 😭 before anyone starts it has nothing to do with female rap. I love female rap. I just don't love these particular choices

I am being dramatic obviously 🤦🏻‍♂️ but two bad months in a row (along with other issues) IF it was Nicki Minaj would make me rethink my subscription. I've been with them since 2014

It's reasonable to periodically question whether the curation matches your tastes.

I, for one, would be pumped for The Pinkprint. And while I didn't get it, I think Salt N Pepa are pretty dope.

I don't expect them to be able to hit my taste every drop of course. I have got some brilliant albums from them that I wouldn't have probably ever checked out only for them.

I initially defended the salt n pepa choice to a fault and gave up then, I won't spin it personally, its not a bad album I just have zero interest in owning it. Same way I have zero interest in owning any nicki minaj. On the flip side I'm really happy with Ross and there was massive unrest among folk when he was picked so yeah you can't please everyone.

I think I just expect something better from R&HH sub than snp followed directly by minaj

Just to add i really don't think it will be Nicki

I mean I don't most of it but that sample is a bop

Still don't want any Nicki
I see what your saying. It was a certified hit before it dropped and when it dropped it proved itself to be. I just personally thought it was messy like nothing about it appealed. If I liked the original I might have felt different. I don't hate all Nicki music. Beez in the trap will never get old to me. That track still gets repeated listens 🔥
