How does the 5 (or 4 depending) fit those two albums? Total group members throughout history of Brand Nubian would be 5, but never 5 at once I don't think? 4 at the time of the album, I guess? P.E. is more confusing to me. How does that 5(4) work?

I have the mental gymnastics to make PE work because I'd ultimately prefer PE over all choices I've seen... Here.We.Go!

Chuck, Flavor, Griff and Terminator X are the 4 the Bomb Squad are the 5th... They are a large part of PE but they are a production team not one person...I hope you enjoyed my Ted Talk...

Can't figure out Brand Nubian and I'm sticking with DU and the Shock G Humpty Hump thing
 
Nubian - Puba, Sadat, Jamar and then they often used two DJs. Alamo and Sincere were both on that record.

PE - Chuck, Flav, Griff, X, and then Lord joined the group in 99. It’s a stretch but could work.

Oh weird I had read that Sincere joined after Alamo left but I think maybe that is incorrect. Got a little confused with if production was counted with P.E. since S1W/Bomb Squad is sometimes referred to as part of the group.

Still confused as to why either case would cause the clue giver to write it the way they did. Humpty Hump does maybe make more sense in that regard if the clue is members. Wouldn't be the first time the clue is messy as hell though.
 
Yeah I mean I’m just throwing out some dots I was trying to connect. Maybe you are right on Sincere, but I’m pretty sure both were on there from this making of One For All doc that they did a while back

If the September Rap & Hip-Hop ROTM is an album from 2001 by a solo artist, then I hope it’s either Aesop Rock’s Labor Days or Missy Elliott’s Miss E...So Addictive!

Those two are exceptional albums that I think were really innovative and quite ahead of their time! The production on both albums are INCREDIBLE! I also really like Masta Ace’s Disposable Arts’ too, but HMV did an exclusive pressing of it (I have it and it sounds pretty great). I also have Miss E...So Addictive on vinyl too, but it would be awesome to get a coloured pressing for it!

Not much at all! All of them haven’t really been narrowed much because we don’t know exactly what the clues refer to! September might not even be an album from 1990 and July might not be an album from 2001, we’re just assuming so!
 
That is some top-tier clue giving, WTF? Might as well have said "there is going to be a rap record released each month for the next 3 months"

I think this is a good call, and there are a ton of reasons why it makes sense (recent repress of CFM, silly money for bucket list on discogs, etc.), but I'm having trouble figuring out how that tracks with the first clue.

It looks like Saba was 22 when that was released?

Clues:

HH: 20, 25, 31
HH: 1, 2, 5 (or 4, depending)
HH: One of the artists is appearing in this Track for the second time.
