Vinyl Me Please Rap & Hip Hop

I’m mostly just excited because it’s an album
I’ve been meaning to add to the collection for a while now and using this as an excuse to finally pull the trigger.

I almost bought that pressing a couple of years ago but never got around to it and/or it fell off my radar.
Right on. I am in the same boat. I was just curious if I was missing something more.

I was a little on the fence about Labcabin, gave it a few listens before the drop and it wasn't hitting me like I remembered. I mentioned to my wife what the album of the month was going to be and how I wasn't sure I should grab it, apparently she's a fan and was like "oh you're totally getting that album" soooooooo here we are!

I think once I have a chance to really sit down and dig into it I'll enjoy it, I remember giving it significant run back when it came out so it's about time I added it to my collection...and my wife likes it so it can be added to our dinner listening sessions!

I don't know if it'll be worth a bunch of extra money if the other one is cheaper, but I'm looking forward to the listening notes. I'm a fan of David Ma. He (along with Nate Leblanc) did a really great job on the liner notes for the recent Freestyle Fellowship - To Whom It May Concern reissue.

I have hopes for Marcus J. Moore, seems like he knows his stuff and I enjoy his articles and reviews I've read. I think Labcab was the first he was responsible for. Waiting to have them dashed though.
