"Eternal" is the only song I've dug so far- everything else sounds like he's trying too hard. Also, Ben Gibbard is an awkward feature on the second song (or maybe it's Dirty Projectors- that's what Wiki says). He just doesn't fit the tone of the song at all.

really enjoy Acid Rap but Coloring Book is a meh fest.

Thats how i felt about the first five too.
Changed it about a minute into track four.
10 minutes later came back and played track five.
So, maybe four gets better?
Diggin’ the soulfulness Of it thus far though.

I like track 4 second time thru. First listen I was like THIS DOES NOT FIT! 2nd time thru I wanna dance at my desk! It's so high energy. I think I need to listen to this properly when i get home with a couple of essential items and see what sticks

im really doubting it because the official pressing is 40 dollars
so VMP wouldn't make the album 23-30 dollars (1/4-1/2 the MSRP).. like the only time they kinda did that recently was clairo..

It won't be. VMP would be cannibalizing Chance's sales since it would offer people time to cancel that pre-order -- or vice versa, where VMP would be losing sales due to this already be up for pre-order. Just doesn't seem like a smart business decision, unless VMP is a silent partner in these releases already, which would make more sense.
